The Challenge

After booking the AJ Building team with restoration work for over 10 months through a successful ads campaign, we shifted our focus to driving customers to AJ Building’s Hire Shop. With a motto of “If you need it, we can get it to you - FAST,” the challenge was to run a first-time Google ads campaign to a highly competitive "Hire" audience in Melbourne.

The Strategy

Gravitate Digital quickly got to know the brand and team at AJ Building, diving in deep to understand the goals, products and audiences. This helped to build detailed targeting from the onset of the campaign and ads that spoke to the target audiences.

From there, Gravitate Digital created aligned, PPC Google Ad campaigns, together with compelling ad copy. These targeted PPC Google Ad campaigns allowed AJ Building to reach ready-to-hire customers. Throughout the campaign, Gravitate Digital refined the ads and audiences, optimising for conversions and driving AJ Building’s goal.

To complement the Google Ad campaigns, Gravitate Digital worked with the team at AJ Building to further develop a conversion funnel on their website to enable optimised conversion opportunities.

The Outcome

The campaign has run over the past 8 months and generated over 3.4k website visits from qualified customers with a 16% conversion rate. This led to an out-of-the-ballpark 25X ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
